Silicon Sensor Development Facility (NCU)

NCU is equipped with a class-10000 clean room and three probe stations for measuring the electrical properties of 6-inch and 8-inch silicon sensors. NCU has collaborated with AS and established the capability in designing the probe cards and the electronic readout. NCU also works closely with a PCB producer, Plotech, to produce high quality readout boards for the experiments. NCU also built the capabilities to design, construct and operate the scintillator-based detector for the application of experimental high energy physics, muography.
